HAPPY FATHER'S DAY

I don't think that words can describe how incredibly lucky Josh and I both feel about the father's in our lives. We have such a strong support from our families that I just thank God every day for what he has given me. I listen to stories all the time of the student's in my classes about not having a father around or how much they can't stand their parents. And I just couldn't imagine life without them. We love you guys so much and we are so appreciative of everything that you all do for us and our two little boys. We just wanted to take this opportunity to wish all our dads a fantastic Father's day. Even though that we may not be with you physically on this day please know that we think of you everyday and especially today. WE LOVE YOU!!!! HAPPY DADDY'S DAY!! (in the words of Triston)

Stay tuned for more pictures from our cookout at the river lot for Triston and Trenton's daddy!

Who Could Tell!

Well Trenton had to go to the doctor today after battling a two day fever that just wanted break. He didn't have any other symptoms so we just figured it was viral but his fever just wouldn't break. Well the diganoses...... STREP THROAT!!! I don't know what we are going to do with him. It seems that every time you turn around he's got something wrong! I hope that this is just a bug and not the beginning of more sore throats. The doctor was a little concerned because he said that it was rare for toddlers under two years old to get strep. I guess we will see what happens.

My thought was to get a picture of Trenton feeling all icky, but like I said other than the fever, not eating that well, and up a couple of times at night (which is the norm) you couldn't even tell that there was something wrong. Just keep him in your prayers that this is just a fluke. I don't think that I can deal with more medical problems.

Triston has been such a great help around the house lately. He is just growing up way too fast.

HAPPY 24th MANDI!!!!

Here is the cake that Triston and Trenton helped Muzzy make for Mandi's birthday. I bet that you can't guess which side was there's!

Cathy fixed a big pot of spaghetti and meatballs, one of Mandi's favorites!! And Triston's too.
Triston never wants his spaghetti cut up. He loves slurping it right up!

I don't know if it is a good thing or not but no matter whose birthday it is, Triston always has to be right there to help blow out the candles. And usually more than once.

Thanks Katie!!!

It is just way too hot to do anything outside today, so the boys and I have been staying in and keeping cool. The boys are taking turns arguing over the same two toys (and you all know that we have about 500 different ones to choose from!) and I am playing around with my pictures on the computer. I just wanted to thank Katie for telling me how to put picture collages on my blog. It doesn't take much to excite me!!!! Here are a few more of the pictures from Memorial Day weekend at the river lot!! I will probably be posting some different pictures today. Hope all is well and everyone has found there own way to keep cool!

SWEET TREAT!

Trenton was trying to beat the heat with a nice cool treat. The boys had push ups for snack while outside playing and Trenton still hasn't mastered the push up technique. If the days stay this hot I am sure that it won't take long!! The boys and I are really looking foward to many treats together as my school year comes to a close. I have one more week of school with kids and then an extra two days and I am finished for the summer! I can't wait... It is going to be a lot fun just hanging out with my boys and enjoying our time together.

He managed to con Triston out of his push up as well, but I am sure there wasn't much left.

OK, so if I can't get anymore out of the top then maybe I will try the bottom.

Thank Goodness we are outside!!

What do you mean it is all gone!!!

Trenton, let me see your mouth was the question and this was the answer!!

FUN-N-THE-SUN

For weeks we have been complaining about the rain, chilly weather and wanting to know when the sun was going to visit. Well......it has shown up! When I got home from work on Friday night I was exhausted! This heat really takes it out of you. We had the kids outside all day at school and I had had enough of the sun. Unfortunatley, the boys had other plans of their own. They wanted to get the pool that Triston got for his birthday out and cool off. So we took the pool to daddy and had him blow it up and we filled it up. Trenton still doesn't know what to think of the water that isn't in his bath tub. But Triston jumped right in with no problem. Josh and I decided to use our gift card and one night of free babysittng that Mandi and Rusty had given us for our help with the wedding. Josh and I decided to go to the Hen House resturant in Frostburg. Well for those of you who really know Josh, you will get a kick out of this... First, we had an awful time trying to find the place. The GPS in the truck was leading in the right direction but it dropped us off right in the middle of a road at someone's house. The Suburan needed gas before we left Romney but Josh figured we could at least get to the resturant. Well with all the searching we were really low, finally pulled in to a staton and managed to get gas for $3.77 (22 cents cheaper than Sheetz). Well after asking the gas station cashier for directions we managed to find the resturant. When we pulled up, there were people sitting on the porch, and Josh was amazed at why anyone would want to sit outside and eat when it was 90 degrees outside. When we walked in the front we found out why.... NO AC!!!! It was so sticky in there, especially after being in the sun all day. This wasn't all. We both order Michelob Light to drink and they brought out Michelob Ultra, Josh HATES Mich Ultra, then we ordered salads with our dinner and you guessed it, no 1000 Island dressing. Well, I am sure you are laughing by now!! Overall the food was really good but I don't think that we will be returning, at least not until November!!!

Triston really loves the water. He doesn't miss an opportunity to strike a pose!

Trenton still not too sure what to think.

Move over Jack Sparrow! Captian Triston T is on the lookout.

Please get me out of here is what he is thinking.
I hope that everyone has a nice day and remember that we love you vey much!!!

The Rain Couldn't Ruin Our Day

Well, for four years now it has rained on the day of Triston's birthday party but we didn't let that stop us from having a great time. It did make the pig cook slower because the cooker wasn't as hot as it should be but we had enough fun with Beth's chocolate fountain inside to pass the time.

The big kids didn't let the rain stop them from playing on the huge inflatable slide that we rented. They were soaking wet! They were having a blast, but their parents......

Triston and Blake sat at the little table and ate their lunch together. It was great to see Blake, Brandy, and Charlie again. Brandy is looking good with only two months to go until she has her little girl.

Triston is really getting good at this present opening thing! He got a lot of nice things and was very happy with all his gifts.

Thanks to Emma and Tammy once again for a wonderful and creative cake.

I bet you can't guess the theme to Triston's birthday!

Here are a few pictures from the day. It was a great day and the kids had a blast. The weather wasn't the greatest but we made the best of it. Thanks a lot to Beth once again for the wonderful chocolate fountain, it was a lot of fun and yummy too.
