HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY TRISTON!!!!!

Even though the big party is on Saturday, today was his birthday so we had a little cookout at he river lot. It was really nice. Muzzy made cupcakes so we put Triston's candle in one of those and sang happy birthday. It was so cute, Triston had been singing happy birthday to himself all day and when it was time for us to sing he tried to act shy!

Triston loves to blow out the candles, so we had to go through this process a couple of times. He was really excited.

Mur Mur & Pappy got him this firetruck that he has been asking for since after Christmas. He was really excited when he opened it.

Mur Mur and Pappy also bought and ice cream cake. I have been really watching the sweets the past month but I just had no will power this weekend! Smores, cupcakes, ice cream cake.....

Triston is really growing up way too fast. He opened each of his gifts and looked them over carefully told the people thank you and then threw them aside and asked for the next one.

The campground has a playground so after eating an awesome dinner of pot roast over the campfire the boys and I walked up to play. Triston and Trenton would take turns going down the slide, but Trenton wanted to try a new way.

I was really proud of Triston, this slide was pretty tall. He climbed right up with no problem

The swings were a big hit. There were alot of "bigger" kids on the other set of swings so we had these all to ourselves.

We took the moon bounce along for some extra entertainment for the boys. Triston never misses an opportunity to strike a pose.

Trenton was wiped out! He took his nap in the shade in the hammock. What a life!!!

Memorial Day Weekend at Wappacoma

Josh spent all day Friday getting the river lot ready for us to start enjoying. He did a wonderful job making the place beautiful. He mulched all the trees and pulled weeds and set up the camper. The boys and I went up Friday night after work and spent the night but had to come home Saturday because Josh had a hunt and I was not about to stay up there by myself. There was probably close to 5,000 people staying at the campground this weekend. It was also Hampshire's graduation weekend so a lot of people with lots had parties. I even ran into a couple of students from James Wood Middle. It is a small world!!! We did have a lot of fun and the weather was absolutely perfect!

Josh and Triston lounging in the shade. Even though it was only about 70-75 degrees outside, Josh was complaining about the heat......already!

We took the boys sand box to give them something to do and Walmart only had green and blue sand (well pink and purple) and the boys had the sand everywhere in no time. I am still debating whether or not that was a good idea.

Trenton had sand everywhere. We didn't dye his hair, that is the amount of sand that he had caked on him. When I changed his diaper, he had enough in there to build a small sand castle.

Breakfast of Champions!!! Like a true camper, Triston got up and wanted a smore for breakfast. I figured it couldn't hurt plus is was his birthday!!!!

ONE DOWN 14 MORE TO GO....

Well, Triston finished his first year of preschool. We started the year off a little shaky but he finished with a bang. Since Triston was a part of both groups at the Pitter-Patter program he had two "graduation" ceremonies. The preschool will be shut down next year so Ms. Tina treated all the kids as if they were going into kindergarten since they wouldn't be a part of the program anymore. The facility will be used as the Augusta pre-K program. We signed Triston up, but it is an income based program and the only way Triston will get in is if there are empty slots to fill. This is really heart breaking because Triston has done so well with school and I am afraid of what will happen if he sits a year out before kindergarten.

Here is the cake for the guests of honor. It was really cute, they used each of the kids pictures as the decoration for the cake.
Here is the close up of Triston's pic.

Here is the end of Wednesday's program. He is all smiles, but he has no idea that he will not be going back to school next week. He is really going to miss Ms. Tina and the other kids.

Ms. Tina was a blessing to our family. The stuff that she worked on with Triston shows everyday. She was really upset to be losing her facility.

Each group did a skit of their favorite story and the Wednesday group did the story of the Gingerbread man. Triston was the pig and his line in the skit was. "Come back, come back!" It was really cute and he did a great job!

The Thursday group did the story of the Little Red Hen and he was the hen's friend duck. I didn't get any pictures because I was video taping but here he is with Ms. Tina with his duck hat on. He had to say, "Not me!" When the red hen ask who would help.

He received a certificate, a t-shirt with the class picture on it and a yearbook. He was really proud of the stuff he had made. Way to go Triston! We are all so proud of you. I really need to thank Michele for bailing me out the last two days. If not for help at school I would have had to take time off or missed the ceremonies all together. Thanks a lot Michele, I owe you one. (well maybe two or three) Thanks!

DMUMC HOMECOMING

On Sunday, the boys and I attended Duncan Memorial Church for their 170th homecoming anniversary. It was really neat to see all the past preachers. One gentleman was 94 years old. He was there as well as the other two pastors that I new while attending church there. The only pictures that I have is before we left for church because my battery died! Don't forget about the party on the 31st!!!!

Triston took this picture of Trenton and I. I think that he did a nice job! I don't know, maybe we found his calling.

MR. & MRS. SHOEMAKER

Well, we've been planning for months and on Saturday the big day was finally here. Mandi and Rusty said there "I do's" and the ceremony was beautful. Since I was keeping up with two little ones, I didn't get to take as many pictures as would have liked but here are a few to capture the day.

Rusty and Mandi arrive at the reception showered with bubbles!

Pre-wedding photos of Rusty and the boys! I am hoping that the photographer got a better pic. The boys did a good job, I had to bribe Triston to walk down the aisle but Trenton just took off, which is totally opposite of what we thought.

Trenton stops to show us how he was going to dance when the music starts. He looked so adorable in his little tux.

Triston gets his bubbles ready! He did have a great time!

Josh didn't stay very long for the reception but I did manage to grab him for one quick photo.

Once again, Emma and Tammy exceeded all and made this beautiful cake. Thanks so much girls!! You all did a wonderful job!

They started out sweet and loving but Rusty cracked under pressure and after the crowd went wild he slammed a piece in her face. Triston thought it was pretty funny!

All Triston wanted to do al night was to dance with Aunt Mandi. As soon as the music started he got his wish. He had so much fun dancing.

I guess they are going to be ladies men! The boys just fell in love with Rusty's sister Sarah. At one point, Trenton wouldn't even come to me. I asked him to dance with mommy and he said "NO!!!"
I am not really sure what this was all about, but I thought it was pretty funny! I guess Trenton was trying to cope a feel.

Trenton sits with Aunt Beth and munches on some fruit.

My mom and dad even got in on some dancing. They couldn't stay too long because they had to go back home but I think that they had a great time as well.

Larry & Cathy even shared a few dances together. I think this is the closest that I have ever seen them together.

Here is Josh being his self. He asked me if I wanted a kiss!

Triston made a friend. Hunter is the son of one of Rusty's cousin Trish.

Can U Believe.....

That Triston will be 4 years old at the end of the month. Time is flying by so fast that it scares me to death! My little one is growing up way too fast for my liking. We are planning our annual pig roasting birthday party with a pirate theme...urg!!! Invitations will be soon in the mail but for planning purposes we are going to have his party on May 31st around 2:00. Hope to see you all there.

Enjoy this quick trip down memory lane!!

Triston Robert Timbrook born May 26th, 2004 @ 11: 23 am. He weighed 9 lbs 8 oz.

At 3 months old, he was doing a pretty good job of sitting up with support. He was already holding his head up great and rolling over.

Daddy still enjoys laying on the couch wrapped up in a blanket, however there isn't as much room these days since they now share the couch with little bro, Trenton.

Our little hunter!! At 6 months old, Triston experiences his first of many, many, many hunting seasons.

We are so proud of Triston. He is doing great in school and growing up more and more everyday! I am so glad that I am able to share all of this with the ones we love.
