It's my party........

...and I will have fun if I want too!!! We had Triston's birthday party on Saturday and it was a wonderful turn out! For the first time in five years, he had almost as many kids as adults. It was a lot of fun and the weather couldn't have been more beautiful. The food was awesome as usual and Emma and Tammy did a fantastic job on the cake. I am so glad to have friends in the cake business. Triston was so appreciative of his gifts and it was so cute to see the other kids reactions to him. Poor thing was so pooped from all the fun, heat, and sugar that he got sick that night but then fell right asleep around 8:00 and slept in until 8:00 the next morning. I hope that everyone had as much fun as we all did!!!!

Pre-K Beach Party

Since funds are tight this year, instead of a field trip the pre-K decided to have a beach party out behind their classrooms. I wasn't able to take off work so Cathy went and took a few pics of the kids. As you can tell, they had a blast!!!

5 years ago.....

Triston Robert Timbrook was born at 11:23am weighing 9lbs 7oz. It seems sometimes like it was just yesterday that I was in the delivery room. Time sure does fly by...

Today we celebrate Triston turning 5!! I am so proud of Triston! This year he has really made a lot of changes and is growing into a little man. With school he has matured tremendously! I hope that all of you will be able to make it to Triston's party on Saturday.

Memorial Day!!

We took the boys to the river lot this weekend and we had a lot of fun. The boys love being outside and they don't mind the cold river water either. We went up Saturday during the day but came home to go to a graduation party and then went up early Sunday morning and stayed the night and came home late afternoon. The boys had a blast, it is so much fun just watching them be kids. Since Triston's birthday is on the 26th we let him open some presents early from us. We had some friends come up and help celebrate with a cookout. The rain on Sunday was so heavy that I thought the roof of the camper was going to come down. And the rain today held off just in time to get everything cleaned up and packed away.

Triston was very fascinated with the big rocks in the river bed. He thought it was cool to be able to stand on top of the water!

Trenton was just happy throwing rocks!!

The kids were looking for fish!! The found some Minos and we saw a snake swim by.

The rain drove us indoors so we let Triston go ahead and open his presents from us. I also knew that this toy would occupy a little time.

Cathy ran into Romney and picked up an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen. It was delicious!!

Trenton doesn't like Smores, but will eat the chocolate, marshmallows, and crackers separately.

Triston on the other hand, loves making Smores and eating them, too!

Muzzy lounging in her new chair. We got her and Pa loungers for Christmas. I guess we need to get Cathy one, too.

Josh and Muzzy getting the fire ready for some hot dogs! I think that is just about all we do when we go camping....EAT!!!

Trenton had had enough!! We have a picture just like this from last years camping trip!!

NATIONALS

Here they are..JT's Garage Nationals!!! Josh had me take this pic of the team the other night after the game on the back of his newly renovated truck. He is hoping to put this truck in car shows. He is going to do an article in the local paper about his businesses and is going to use this picture to show how he gives back to the community!

Happy Birthday Callie!

Triston and Trenton were invited to a birthday party this afternoon by one of the girls that goes to our church and is also in Triston's preK class. The weather was perfect for the party, it did however manage to bring torrential down pours at the very end. It was a lot of fun, the party was at the park in Romney and the kids had a blast on all the different playground equipment. It isn't as "high tech" as some other parks but sometimes just good old fashion swings and seesaws is all is needed to keep them happy. Trenton was complaining about it being too hot, he is his father's son. Josh has one son that looks identical to him and one son that acts identical to him!!! Callie was so sweet has she opened her presents and so appreciative of what people got her. It was a great afternoon!
Good of hobby horses, Trenton really enjoyed the different animals that they had at the park that he could ride on.

Of course, Triston doesn't miss a Kodak moment!! I am not too sure yet if sports is his thing, but modeling wouldn't be bad either!

The pinata was a big hit, literally!! Both Trenton and Triston took their whack at it and scampered to gather has much goodies as possible.
Triston with girls from class, Emma and Callie

Emma and Triston. Poor Triston is the smallest one, these girls tower over him at least 5 inches!!

What a group, Triston looks like the outcast with all these girls..

I wonder what kind of conversation they are having....Maybe Triston and Easton are getting the digits! :0)

After getting rained on.. For someone who hates to get wet, Triston did not want to come out of the rain.

Batter Up!!!

Well......what is there to say about last nights game!!!! Triston had his first tee ball game last night and let me just tell you that it was very eventful, to say the least! We had kids running the bases backwards, kids passing other kids while running the bases, we had a five minute tag game going on with two kids, there was a lot of sitting in the infield, socializing in the outfield. Well I assume that you get the point. It was very comical and we did enjoy ourselves, but my competitive nature has a really hard time with this. I don't expect grand slams or double plays, but come on. From all those events you would think that we played nine innings, but it was only three! It was fun we did enjoy it and I think that I was more frustrated because it was our first game and I didn't really know what to expect. We have another game tonight so we will see if they learned anything from last night and if they can at least run to first base instead of third!

The team warming up! There are 11 players on the Nationals team.

Triston in the outfield, who knows what he is doing!

Triston was more fascinated with playing with the dirt and rocks than he was watching the ball and batter.

I guess he isn't catching fly balls like that !!

He definitely isn't catching anything with his hat on his eyes!

Batter up!!!

Good try, strike three. Time to hit off the tee.

Triston rounding the bases!!

Running home!!!!!
