Momma's so Proud!

Triston also had a great day! I did miss his first match and they tell me that he tried really hard but the little boy that he faced had been wrestling for three years and was a little bigger. The second match, Triston tried harder than I have ever seen. He was grunted and rolling and pushing and I was so proud of him. He did loose by points but he won in effort in my book.

Trenton's First Match

What a day! Full of about a million different emotions. Today the boys had a wrestling scrimmage and I was late because we had a function at the church that I had already obligated to. By the time I got to Petersburg, Trenton refused to wrestle and Triston had already wrestled and got pinned. So, I was a little apprehensive about rushing around. They went through all the kids and they were going to wrestle again with different match ups. This time Trenton was ready to go!! He was paired up with a little boy named, Lane. Trenton loved that because he is obsessed with bull riding and we have watched 8 seconds a gazillion times. Anyway, Trenton went three rounds and scored 5 points. He lost by 4! This was his first ever match, ever!!! Did I mention that the boy he wrestled was a first year wrestler but he was SIX years old!! I was so proud of him. At one point Trenton started to pucker up and tear up because he was so frustrated because he couldn't move. He refused to shake the little boys hand at the end, well of course you know that didn't go over to well with mamma!! After fierce threatening, he shook the boys hand. To see this little boy.......it was amazing!

SNOW MUCH FUN.................

Trenton woke up Saturday morning, "Can I go play in the snow," this was at around 7:30! Finally, after hours of whining I gave in and got them all bundle up to go play. Obviously, it took us longer to get dressed in layers then actual time spent outside playing. The first trip outside didn't last very long and I had a few great pictures but there was no card in the camera and I can't figure out how to get the memory off of the camera itself. We went sled riding and I was pooped after walking up and down the hill numerous times, and half of that time I had to carry Trenton because he couldn't get traction to walk up by himself. It was a lot of fun and I felt like a kid again. I forgot how much I enjoyed sled riding. The last couple of winters there hasn't been enough snow and the boys were too little. I am hoping for more snow so we can have more fun, but next time... snow during the week is better for schedule!!!!
I finally found an activity that they can do together without too much fighting and arguing. They realized that the sled went faster when they both were on together. I managed to get my butt on there too!! All three of us went up and down the hill and we had a blast!!

Thanksgiving!

We started our holiday on Wednesday and headed to Charlestown to stay with dad, Karen, & Cole. The boys and I spent the night and enjoyed relaxing and visiting. Dad, Karen and the boys decorated a gingerbread house. We woke up early and ate a great Thanksgiving breakfast, got to see Tony and then headed to B'ville. We visited with mom, dad, jess, and darin for a little while and then stopped by Gma dean on the way home. Triston has been running a fever so he was pretty exhausted by the time that we got to Muzzy's. Trenton fell asleep in the car and slept half the time we were there. It was a great day and although we rushed here and there I was glad to be able to see everybody. Friday, my bday, I did nothing! I was a lazy bumb. I didn't even get dressed until around 2:00! Saturday we went shopping and I was able to find a few leftover deals for the boys. Today, I am cleaning my house and putting out our Christmas decorations. I feel like the month of December is going to fly by because we already have things planned for every weekend. Wrestling starts on Monday and this year both boys are wrestling and that takes up three nights a week! I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend!

More BDAY Pics

Here are a few more pics for you to enjoy! The kids had a blast wacking the cow! And I was able to get lots of GOOD candy because it was all half-priced after Halloween. Trenton loved his cake and he loves blowing out the candles. He got lots of great gifts, but the bull was hands down a huge hit! Trenton wants to be a bull rider when he grows up!! I am sure that this will change......about a million times before then. Thanks to everyone who came and for all the help and the wonderful gifts. We love you!!!

Trenton's Farm Bday

The hayride was great! I think that this was my first "real" hayride.

Thanks for the wonderful cake, Auntie Em and Tam!

Triston being Triston!!

Trenton & Triston got a dog named Miles that joined us on the hay ride.

Trenton's birthday was great! The weather was very cooperative and fun was had by many. We went on an adventurous hay ride over the river (pond) and through the woods, literally! Trenton was pooped and fall asleep on the ride, but the mention of cow pinata woke him in a hurry. It was a great day and we had lots and lots of fun.
