So Proud!!
Well, the season started off to a rocky start.....at the first tournament Triston's head was not in it and it showed on the mat. He didn't try and just let them beat him. So we started out 0-2. We tried to explain to him that he needs to give it his best everytime and that hard work and determination will pay off.
Well, something must have sunk in....at the next tournament Triston won all three matches. Two pins and a win. He was very excited to be getting a trophy. Afterall, he has never earned first place before. Triston loves to get tshirts at the tournament, here he picked this one with Timbrook 50 pounder...
The third tournament Triston won all three matches again to earn a first place trophy. One pin and two wins. Record for the season thus far 6-2. I hope that he keeps up the hard work. We are now trying to get him to understand that he needs to give it his all at practice to and that may give him the upper hand at meets.
As for Trenton, he wrestled in his first tourney and was winning the championship match and got frustrated because the boy was grabbing his neck and refused to continue. That was a hard pill to swallow. Instead of earning first he gave it away. The next tourney he was the exhibition match with another four year old and Trenton beat him by points. This weekend he didn't wrestle. They will both wrestle next weekend and then we have our home meet @ Hampshire High on Feb. 5th. I hope that you can all make it.
Two down.....
Triston lost his second tooth!! Of course the tooth fairy wasn't as generous as she was when he lost his first but he was still able to get a little something. I am sure by Christmas time Triston will be singing, "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth." It seems that once you start loosing them it just keeps right on!

First Snow Day....
The first snow day of the year and I woke to NO snow!! I thought this will be interesting....... Triston's school went on time and Trenton and I played Wii! Then it started snowing and we had to go get Triston from school!!
YUMMY!!!!!!
If Triston is a snow "angel" what does that make Trenton? (snow "devil")
You can see it on his face..he is up to no good!!!!
I was right! Snowball to Trenton's left cheek!
And the chase is on.......
And on.......
Nice snow day...there wasn't even enough snow to make a snowman. So we made a snow blob!!!
Christmas 2010
Feeding the reindeer. The boys were so excited Christmas Eve, I think that this is the first of many Christmas nights of excitement. They used to go to bed and not even realize what was about to happen and had to be woke up the next morning......NOT ANYMORE!!!!!
Cookies for Santa. Triston wrote his own Santa note.
Really???? Do two little boys actually need this much?!?!?!? In Santa's defense...the gifts from Murmur were also under the tree, as well as her gifts to me, Mandi, Rusty and vice versa.
Triston did not need woke up!!! He was ready to go as soon as the feet hit the floor!!
It was a Ben 10 Christmas at our house. It isn't funny how every year seems to have a theme.
It did take Trenton a little time to get moving but not too much time!!!
Since he has played his brothers ds more than he has, Santa brought Trenton his own or should this one be Triston's?
Together Gifts!!! Get used to it boys because you are getting at that age where you both get gifts together.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! Thanks SANTA!!!!
And yes, that is a real phone!! Daddy bought Triston an Amigo phone. It has 4 pre-programed numbers that he can call. And let me just tell you that Christmas Day I had over 35 calls from Triston. Thank goodness for mobile-to-mobile!!
At the end of the day, the Timbrooks had a wonderful Christmas and Triston sits in the middle of all his toys. Where is Trenton? He is in the play room watching a movie that he has seen over a hundred times and playing with something that he got two years ago!!!! Typical Trenton being Trenton and Triston being Triston!!
