SPRING BREAK IS OVER AND ITS BACK TO WORK AND SCHOOL! :0(

SPRING BREAK!!!

We made it home safely from our little adventure to Ohio! The boys and I had a fun time hanging out by the pool while Josh was hunting. We went to a family fun zone on Friday and the boys had a blast. They got to jump around in moon bounces and play video games. Josh beat me a the honey pot game, for kids, and I beat him at the basketball shoot out! Saturday we went to a drive thru safari and I laughed until I cried. The only thing that they had to look at were mule deer, buffalo, and a few other deer type animals and they stuck their heads in the windows of the truck and Triston didn't know what to think. Overall, we had a great trip and our glad to be home.
Mommy and the boys enjoying the indoor pool. It was nice to get a in a little relaxing time with the boys. And poor Trenton had to float in the pink hippo because that was all we could find.

HAPPY EASTER!!!

EASTER EGG HUNT

Since the weather didn't cooperate, Trenton had to sit this one out. He has been fighting a cold for the last week and I didn't want to take any chances. Triston had a blast!

Triston wa really excited! He was proud of his findings!

This was the first year that he really knew what was going on. He mad a public announcement everytime he picked up an egg.

I found one, in a tree!!!!

EGG-Cellent!!

The boys and I decorated Easter eggs on Tuesday night here at the house and they went to Muzzy's this morning to help her decorate her eggs. Triston had a ball, this was the first year that he really understood what he was supposed to do. Trenton on the other hand.....well needless to say none of his eggs made it back into the cartons!! He was so mad the first night that we dyed eggs that he pretty much cried the whole time. All he wanted to do was to squash the eggs in his hands.

Triston was all smiles as he dyed his eggs!

Trenton started off to a good start, but.......

The boys working together to make some pretty eggs.

He didn't end up very good!! This poor egg.

Triston decorating at Muzzy's. Muzzy saved the little eggs for the boys. That was a very good idea, even Trenton did a much better job.

Hippty Hoppty Easters on its Way!!

After church today we went to Winchester to try and find Easter outfits, which was no luck, and the boys got a chance to tell the Easter Bunny what treats they wanted. Both boys jumped up on his lap with no hesitation and Trenton couldn't stop waving at the ladies taking the pictures.

Big Hero in a Little Body!!

I am sure that some of you are aware but some may not be. There is an eigth grader at our school who was diagnosed with leukemia a couple of months ago and times have been real tough for the whole family. McKenzie is an extraordinary young lady. My heart has been weighed heavily by this situation and I ask that you all keep little McKenzie and her family in your thoughts and prayers.

Friday night our school held a student versus faculty basketball game to raise money for McKenzie and her family. I am so pleased to say that they raised over $5000 and that we, the geriatrics, WON!!!!!!

It was a great night! Filled with thousands of emotions. The audience was surprised when McKenzie made an appearance at the game. She sat in the balcony with her family because she can not risk getting sick. It was so wonderful to see this young girl who has so much reason to be miserable just smile so big! One of her good friends sang Rascal Flats song "Skin" and that was about all I could take and I got a little shook up, but who wouldn't. It was a very humbling experience to be able to say that I participated in such a great benefit. It you get the chance check out McKenzie's website and you will see just what I am talking about. http://www.mckenzieleigh3.webs.com/

We wear orange for Mckenzie!! This is what we
looked like after the game, did I mention that we
WON!!!!!

Michele is fired up and ready to kick butt!!

Jeff is chilling ready to get it on!!

Pep talk from our coach!

DID I MENTION THAT WE WON!!!!!!!!!!! 50-36 (I think)
