What a Wonderful Father's Day!

It was a great day at Wappacoma. The boys helped me make Josh and Larry breakfast and then we got things together and headed to the river lot for a cookout with the family. The weather was absolutely beautiful. Just the right temperature so that we didn't have to hear Josh complain :-) We had some really great food too! Muzzy had prepared a chicken that we finished cooking over the campfire and then we also did some bbq ribs on the fire. It was yummy! My double decker, double chocolate smores was also very tasty. Other than not being able to be with my father's it was a great day.

I think that this it the only picture that I have of these two together my themselves!

Three generations of Timbrooks!!

This is how Father's Day is supposed to be spent. Laid back with your feet kicked up.

On our walk back from the river to the campsite the trail that we take was really muddy due to the rain that we had got this week and I had just told Triston to quit running and no sooner than I said it his feet were in the air and he fell right in the middle of a huge mud hole! I guess he will learn sooner or later to listen to mommy!

RIVER RATS!!!!

The boys had a blast in the river today! It was so peaceful and just made me think of how lucky I am to have everything that I do. Triston did so surprisingly well in the water. Usually each year it takes us a few times to any water before Triston works up the nerve to go all in. But today as soon as we got to the river, he didn't hesitate and jumped right in, he would lay on his stomach, crawl around on the rocks, and even tried to stick his head under (which wasn't that successful). Trenton on the other hand didn't care to get in the water but had a great time throwing rocks and digging his toes in the mud! Trenton and I sat out on this huge rock in the water and watched Triston play around. You can tell from the pictures the beautiful scenery. It was almost like a picture from a movie while I was sitting on the rock and looking at the sky and mountains connect. It was a great day at the river and in just a few days I will be able to go out to the river anytime that I want because there is only THREE days of school left!! YAY!!!!!!!

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY

I don't think that words can describe how incredibly lucky Josh and I both feel about the father's in our lives. We have such a strong support from our families that I just thank God every day for what he has given me. I listen to stories all the time of the student's in my classes about not having a father around or how much they can't stand their parents. And I just couldn't imagine life without them. We love you guys so much and we are so appreciative of everything that you all do for us and our two little boys. We just wanted to take this opportunity to wish all our dads a fantastic Father's day. Even though that we may not be with you physically on this day please know that we think of you everyday and especially today. WE LOVE YOU!!!! HAPPY DADDY'S DAY!! (in the words of Triston)

Stay tuned for more pictures from our cookout at the river lot for Triston and Trenton's daddy!

Who Could Tell!

Well Trenton had to go to the doctor today after battling a two day fever that just wanted break. He didn't have any other symptoms so we just figured it was viral but his fever just wouldn't break. Well the diganoses...... STREP THROAT!!! I don't know what we are going to do with him. It seems that every time you turn around he's got something wrong! I hope that this is just a bug and not the beginning of more sore throats. The doctor was a little concerned because he said that it was rare for toddlers under two years old to get strep. I guess we will see what happens.

My thought was to get a picture of Trenton feeling all icky, but like I said other than the fever, not eating that well, and up a couple of times at night (which is the norm) you couldn't even tell that there was something wrong. Just keep him in your prayers that this is just a fluke. I don't think that I can deal with more medical problems.

Triston has been such a great help around the house lately. He is just growing up way too fast.

HAPPY 24th MANDI!!!!

Here is the cake that Triston and Trenton helped Muzzy make for Mandi's birthday. I bet that you can't guess which side was there's!

Cathy fixed a big pot of spaghetti and meatballs, one of Mandi's favorites!! And Triston's too.
Triston never wants his spaghetti cut up. He loves slurping it right up!

I don't know if it is a good thing or not but no matter whose birthday it is, Triston always has to be right there to help blow out the candles. And usually more than once.

Thanks Katie!!!

It is just way too hot to do anything outside today, so the boys and I have been staying in and keeping cool. The boys are taking turns arguing over the same two toys (and you all know that we have about 500 different ones to choose from!) and I am playing around with my pictures on the computer. I just wanted to thank Katie for telling me how to put picture collages on my blog. It doesn't take much to excite me!!!! Here are a few more of the pictures from Memorial Day weekend at the river lot!! I will probably be posting some different pictures today. Hope all is well and everyone has found there own way to keep cool!

SWEET TREAT!

Trenton was trying to beat the heat with a nice cool treat. The boys had push ups for snack while outside playing and Trenton still hasn't mastered the push up technique. If the days stay this hot I am sure that it won't take long!! The boys and I are really looking foward to many treats together as my school year comes to a close. I have one more week of school with kids and then an extra two days and I am finished for the summer! I can't wait... It is going to be a lot fun just hanging out with my boys and enjoying our time together.

He managed to con Triston out of his push up as well, but I am sure there wasn't much left.

OK, so if I can't get anymore out of the top then maybe I will try the bottom.

Thank Goodness we are outside!!

What do you mean it is all gone!!!

Trenton, let me see your mouth was the question and this was the answer!!
