"I Just Want To Play!"

Josh's uncle from Florida came up this Thursday for a long weekend visit. Two of Pa's sisters came with Douglas and Riley. This is the first time that they have ever been here to visit. Pa has been on cloud nine with excitement. And the boys have been having a fun time playing. Well............not all the boys! Poor Trenton is like the third wheel. He wants so bad to just play with the big kids and they don't really want him to interfere. Poor guy!

This is the result of Trenton not being able to play......

This was the incident prior to the breakdown....Trenton wanted something and the boys didn't want him to have it.

Here is post-Trenton play. At this point Trenton was taking a nap.

The boys were so excited to see Riley. This was the photo taken on Thursday when he first arrived.

CAUGHT BEING GOOD!!!!

Triston received his first certificate from school today. Apparently, he has been having a little bit of trouble staying in the line to and from lunch and to and from recess. But today he stayed in his line and where the teacher placed him so he received this, Caught Being Good certificate. Way to go Triston!! He is doing so well and we are so proud of him.

Here is one of his first masterpieces from school. A lady at a scrapbooking crop gave me a great idea in regards to school projects. Although we would love to be able to keep everything (and so far I have but I have already filled up five diaper boxes just from last years crafts), she told me to take a picture of every art project and then I can put the pictures of his projects in a scrapbook. I will definitely keep what I can but I thought that this was a great way to preserve his artwork.

"WHO LET THE DOGS OUT......" Josh let the puppies out for a little while this evening to burn some pent up energy and of course my two boys were all over them.

The puppies just love the boys and I sure hope that they don't have gas, for Triston's sake!!!!

Enjoying it while it lasts~~

Well, with the daylight getting shorter and the evenings getting cooler we are trying to enjoy what is left of the play-outside-weather. I had a meeting today after school and I had a pork roast in the crock pot so all the hard work was already done by the time I got home. We ate dinner and the boys and I went outside to burn off some energy. One of Josh's friends came to buy dog food and they brought their son so him and Triston played on the swing set and Trenton played with the truck. I am really going to miss going outside when the weather turns
and the kids are really going to miss it. I hope all is well and I will be talking to you.

Of course, Triston can't go down the slide they way you are supposed too... But him and Hunter had a fun time playing. Triston loves having someone to play with, it is a shame that him and his brother can't get along to play together. I am hoping that this will change with time.

He has so much fun playing outside!!

BOYS RULE!!!!

Trenton is going to take after the family business!

Trenton going with Daryl to feed the pigs. He loves being around the animals

The kids got their love of animals from their father! Triston loves these puppies.

Again, 100% Timbrook Boy!!!!

Here Comes the Bride!!!

On Sunday, Beth and I went to David's Bridal to find her and I a dress for the wedding. If you didn't already know, Beth and Kenny are going to get married in Jamaica in April and Josh and I are going with them. I am so excited already that I can't stand it...
Beth found her dress, and of course I couldn't put that on here because it is supposed to be a surprise. Her dress is absolutely gorgeous and she looks fantastic in it. She did a great job of trying on all the dresses that she had picked out first and then went back and tried on a few of her favorites. It is going to be an amazing time and April better hurry up and get here!!!

Here is Beth trying to find that right dress....So many choices and I can't just decide!

I think that I like this one....and this one....and this one......and this one... You get the point, Beth must have tried on 10 dresses!! But that was great because then she knew exactly the one.

Here is the bridesmaid dress that I picked out and of course it looks much better on this woman then me!! But I am dropping twenty pounds between now and April and the dress is going to look great!!!

The boys are excited about Aunt Beth getting married, too. It is a shame that they cannot come with us but it is a couples only resort. The boys both had a busy week with Triston being in school and Trenton being home alone. Both are doing great and adjusting fine, for now!!

A Little Scared!

Well, today is Triston's first day of school at Romney Elementary. I think that he is a little scared. Last night while we were reading a book he asked if daddy was going to stay with him today and I told him no that big boys go to school with the other kids and Mrs. Julie. Bless his little heart but his comment was that he wanted to be a baby like Trenton. He said please just let me go to my old school. I felt so bad for him. But I know that he will do fine when he gets with the other kids and his teachers. Just keep him in your thoughts and prayers this week while he gets used to the new arrangments. Also, think about Trenton because I think that he is going to be lost without having Triston around, even though they do argue a lot and fight over the same toy when there are millions but I still think that he is going to miss his big brother!

THE BIG 5-0!!!

What a wonderful night we had last night celebrating my mom's 50th birthday. We threw mom a surprised party and we got her good! I was so nervous about the way that she was going to react about being surprised, but it all worked out and she was so pleased. We had such a wonderful time dancing and drinking. Some of us may of had a little too much fun!! But that's what parties are all about. I just want to thank everyone for all their hard work to make the night a huge success. I love ya all!

Beth was the decorator and she did a fantastic job!! She just has a knack for this kind of thing.

Here is an aerial view of the table centerpieces. Where the two tables connected we had 1/2 dozen of red roses in vases.

Here is the food table being sat up. It was full of all kinds of wonderful goodies!

The head table for mom and dad. I copied pictures of mom through the years.

Emma and Tammy working on the cake. This was the time when there was a whole lot of stressing going on!!

Here is the final product. The cake was absolutely beautiful. See all that stressing for nothing. Thank you girls for a wonderful job again.

Mom started making her rounds to the tables thanking everyone for coming. I was glad to see how excited she was. She deserves it!

Trenton wasted no time to get his dance groove on. Michaela, too.

Jessica, Brian, and his brother.

Trenton was a little tired out!

Our bartenders motto for the night, "one for you and TWO for me!"

Trenton shaking a leg with his Gramma.

The birthday girl and hubby sharing a special dance to Rose colored glasses.

Triston flashes the camera a smile!

Everyone enjoying themselves on the dance floor.

What a crew!!!!

Fix me another, Kenny!

WAY TOO MUCH TOO DRINK!!!!! :-)

FOUR AMIGOS!! Thanks again girls for all your help and hard work.

The Owen's girls, Taylor, Ragaen, and Michaela strutting their stuff.

Family shot with the birthday girl. Well everyone except Gramma. She looks a little disappointed at this moment.

Trenton having a blast!

Even mom was excited to see Josh. Its hard to tell what they are talking about here.

Gramma really got down. Kenny had a hard time keeping up.

I hope that you have enjoyed the photos. I could post more but I don't want to give away all our secrets.

SLIME NIGHT!!!!

Wednesday night Triston and I went to church for Slime Night. I am sure that you are asking, "What in the world is Slime Night?" Each year the lady that runs the Wednesday night kids group does Slime night to teach the kids about the "slime" in their lives and the only way to get rid of the "slime" is to cleanse with God. It is a great time and you can tell from the pictures that Triston didn't like the idea of being slimmed. I am sure that all of you know that Triston can't stand to get his clothes even wet so I wasn't sure how he was going to react to the slime. The poor guy even threw up! I felt so bad for him but the smell of the chocolate syrup and the strawberry syrup and chocolate pudding all mixed together made him gag and then up came dinner! But all in all it was a great night!

Triston getting ready for some SPAM ball! I can't believe that he didn't mind the smell and feel of SPAM!

I forgot to turn this photo but I didn't want to delete it. Spaghetti hairdo's and always fun!

Redi-Whip Wars!! This was Triston's favorite! He chased all the big kids around and tried really hard to get them all messy.

Triston sampling out the jello pool! One little pinky toe at a time!

The objective was to get the messiest!! I think Triston won the award for the cleanest.
