Pizza & Eggs!!

Josh and Cathy took the boys to the nursery and Triston picked out these beautiful tulips for his mommy. He is such a sweetheart!!

We made homemade pizzas and dyed Easter eggs this afternoon. Muzzy and Pa, Michele, Cathy, and Josh joined us for the afternoon. The boys had a great time.

Trenton spilled dye on his pants right off the bat, so needless to say they came off. That's why my child is in his underwear in the middle of the day. I figured why take the chance to get another pair of pants wet! Trenton dunked his eggs in every color, he cared less about what they looked like and more about dunking!

Triston on the other hand had to make sure that there was an even amount of dye on every side of the egg. He used the wax crayon to doodle on the eggs. Trenton tried but smashed through with the crayon and decided that he didn't want to us it.

Triston wrote his name on this one and was very proud of his masterpiece.

Last weekend we traveled to Fairmont State for Triston's state wrestling tournament. His first match was a no contest, the boys was about 5 inches taller than him with a mohawk!! He also went on to win the whole thing in the 45lb. weight class. Triston's next match was a close one, it took him a few minutes to get started and by that time the boy was one up on him. That's the way it stayed. Triston lost by one point, he wrestling season came to an end. I would be lying if I said I was a little glad. It is a lot of time commitment with practices and tournaments that are all over the place and last all day. So we move on to Tball!! Had our first practice on Saturday. At least these games only last an hour, if that!!

Home Tourney....

Hampshire Mat Club's home wrestling tournament was a huge success!! We took third place overall! The snow caused us to cancel the first time so we had to postpone it a couple weeks later. We got Trenton in a singlet but he was too scared to go out onto the mat to wrestle.

The home team warming up before the start of the tournament. Triston is focused!!

Trenton had no problem wrestling around on the mat with his brother, but no one else!!

Aunt Mandi & Uncle Rusty came to show their love for the Timbrook Boys!! Triston was double entered and wrestling in a upper weight class. Amazingly his only win of the day came from that weight class; go figure. He tried really hard but only had one win for the day. Everyone was so proud of him!

Hampshire Mat Club Wrestlers.....Third Place Team
We took this the other night and there were a lot of kids missing for some reason. Triston is really intimidating; isn't he?

Snow Play!!

Triston is ready to go sled riding..

The snow was over Trenton's head in some spots. He didn't stay out long.

Mandi was not to happy about shoveling...needless to say that didn't last long either. Thank goodness for heavy machinery!! The boys from the farm came up the driveway with a dozer and tractor and with a couple good swipes it was clear. We would still be out there....or dead!!

Porch diving...Triston's new hobby! I tried and it took my about five minutes to wiggle my way out of the snow.

"It's like jumping into a big white pool, mom."

Blizzard 2010

This is absolutely ridiculous!!!! We won't be able to dig out of here until Spring!!!! The boys are finding things to do to keep themselves busy but we are starting to go a little stir crazy! I think that it is the fact that we know that we can't go anywhere! I am just praying that we don't loose electric!

Way Behind!!

On one of the holiday's in January I took the boys bowling. It was a lot of fun and they both bowled really well. Trenton used the roll assist and Triston held the ball like a pro. Of course we used the bumpers and that helped my game tremendously!! It was a lot of fun!
