Jack-o-latern

WOW~ This is the only word that comes to mind right now as I think about the wonderful evening we had at the Timbrook House. I told Josh that it was time to get back to the basics and to start some traditions around here. So we made homemade pizzas and carved pumpkins. I remember carving pumpkins and roasting pumpkin seeds every year as a kid and we had a blast. I want to be able to give my kids the same wonderful memories. Mandi, Rusty, Cathy, Larry, the kids, Josh and I all helped make pizzas and then carved pumpkins and then Muzzy and Pa came over to help finish off the carving. I think too many times in life we forget about the simple pleasures that used to make our own childhood special. The whole family was together for a great night. "My cup runneth over!

The boys did a fantastic job helping with the pizzas. I think that Trenton's philosophy was...."one for the pizza, one for me!" And they were really yummy too!

Trenton didn't mind getting into the pumpkin to pull out the insides.

Triston, on the other hand, wasn't so eager but we figured that.

We bought some of those pumpkin stick ins and Trenton really enjoyed making monster faces. It was really cute, and less messy!

Josh was a big help! We let him manage the knife, even though Triston was really upset that he couldn't do all the carving.
It was a lot of fun and we really enjoyed our first Timbrook Halloween Pumpkin Carving!
The Timbrooks!! Josh is being a big dork, like usual!!
