just a few.....

Here are just a few of the pictures that I had taken with my camera at the beach. This picture was taken from our fourth floor balcony with my extended zoom. Pretty cool! I got have just let the boys play at the beach and watch them from the balcony......yeah right!!!! Just kidding

Josh has been telling us for years that Preston's was the best restaurant to eat at for seafood buffet and we have never been so we decided to try it out. I hate to admit it but it was pretty good!! Trenton was being stubborn and refused to smile for our pic.

No problem smiling here, Trenton loved the beach. He would sit and play in the sand for hours.

Triston on the other hand was much happier at the pool. He would play in the waves for about ten minutes and was ready to move on to the pool. I will hopefully get the pictures from mom soon.
This is what you do at the beach when it rains! The boys were just as happy playing in the bath tub.

Ripley's Aquarium

While mom and cathy shopped at the Broadway, I took the boys to the aquarium. It was a lot of fun, the boys were amazed at all the fish and especially the sharks. Every five minutes, they were shouting, "oh mom, LOOK!!" It was great to see them having such a great time. I can't wait to take them to the zoo.

Beach tradition

Every year at the beach I take the boys to the build a bear workshop and let them make their own animal. It is really fun and I think that I enjoy watching them as much as they enjoy making their animals. The boys love playing with stuff animals and Triston, especially, gets really attached to his stuffed animals. We had a great time at the beach and their will be plenty of pics to share but I had to use mom's camera because the humidity kept fogging my lens up so as soon as I get her camera card I will be glad to share my beach pixs!!

Bunny love!!!

The day before we left to go to the beach, a lady stopped by the garage to buy dog food and had baby bunnies with her. Needless to say she didn't leave with them. The boys talked their dad into buying them and since they are going to stay outside in the rabbit hutch, I was all for it!!! The boys were really cute with them and that's all we heard all week at the beach. They went down to the pin as soon as we got home to hold them and feed them.

you and me go fishing...........

We took the boys fishing down at the pond at the house after dinner and I was so surprised how well Triston did. He caught three fish all by himself. He didn't need help reeling it in or anything. He also has learned to cast, which is something that I can't even do that well. I was really proud of him. Now, Trenton on the other hand that is a different story. I was just waiting for the whole pole to go diving into the pond!! He doesn't have much patience. He is just interested in throwing rocks in the pond, which he gets in trouble for! The boys love being outdoors and all the things that go with it. Only two more weeks until vacation and we can't wait!!! It should be a lot of fun!

Triston sits and waits patiently for his big catch!!

Triston reeling in "baby orca" Thanks Rusty for helping me!!

"Where are the fishes!"
You can only imagine what is going through his mind!!

Happy 4th of July!!!

Posted by Picasa
The boys had a great time camping this weekend for the 4th. We took them up on Friday evening and they loved the fireworks. We bought some fountains, sparklers, and stuff like that they enjoyed at our camp. And then we walked over to the field next to ours and watched fireworks that other people blew their money on!! Triston loved running around with the sparklers and Trenton got a spark on his foot and was done for. He wanted no parts of it after that. All in all the boys had a great time and that was the mission of the trip. Hope everyone had a fun time, too.

What a five-year-old does.............

WHEN LEFT ALONE FOR FIVE MINUTES!!!!!
